Llewellin Training
This page is dedicated to the training efforts of my friend Jerry Daniel. Jerry is a full time pointing dog trainer dedicated to developing dogs to their full potential
 without harsh treatment or pressure. He uses a light handed approach that is perfectly suited to the temperament of the Llewellin Setter. Jerry's wife Sue runs the business end of Saratoga Kennel and is an expert kennel hand in her own right. Your Llewellin will be well cared for during training in a clean, comfortable kennel run and returned to you a completely finished gundog or NSTRA trial dog capable of placing in competition.
Jerry's prices are as follows:

Puppy Program:
|

Introduction to birds, gun and light yard work: $250. per month. Normally a one month program.
|

Serious yard work and general training:
|
|
$400. per month plus birds at actual cost*. Normally two to three month program for gun dogs and three to four month program for trial dogs.
|
|
Trained Retrieve Program:
|
|
$400. flat fee plus birds at actual cost*. Normally takes around six weeks.
|
|
* Actual cost for birds is normally around $3.00 per bird.
