NLGDC CH Sherrod's Joshua

Josh had four trial placements in the National Llewellin Gun Dog Club trials and the Dixie Region of NSTRA prior to his third birthday. He has the qualities it takes to compete and the heart to apply his trade when the going gets tough. He exhibits great stamina while hunting with speed, style and a high cracking tail. He has that super hot weather nose that is so hard to find in any breed of pointing dog. While doubling as the family pet, Josh never meets a stranger, and gets along great with other dogs. He was OFA certified "good" on 5/27/04 and BAER (hearing) tested on 5/7/04 by Dr. Edward Marshall at Auburn University. Josh is being offered at stud to select bitches with negative brucellosis test.

Ruben is heavy in Royacelle breeding. He goes hard and produces birds at a level much past his age. While having medium to wide range he has the typical keep in touch trait that is so common in the Llewellin Setter. He has style, nose, natural point and bird sense. Ruben was OFA tested "Good" on 6/21/06. He is producing hard hunting pups with high pointing style.

High Cotton Buck

Buck is a young male out of two of the best Llewellins I have had the pleasure of watching in the field. He has the temperament of a lap dog with an eager to please attitude that makes training easy. When in the field, he has plenty of go, good heat tolerance and above average nose. He runs with a good cracking tail and points high on both ends. I really like what I see in this young dog.

Jack is out of a direct daughter of Royacelle III and Josh. He is one of those tough hunters that never goes around a briar patch. He hunts hard and is all business in the field. He looks good running and points with a lot if intensity. He is also showing good hot weather nose, heat tolerance and endurance. Jack has a better than average running lick.
